Default So......you closed my thread.

R.U.S.S.! what is the point of 'Blah Blah Blah'?
I'm not making suggesting or adding contributions, I'm not challenging anyone, I'm not reading up on technical issues.

If I want to cry about my pieces of eight, I'm going to post in Blah Blah Blah so as to not clog up 'real' boards with blather.

Stop being a jerk, and make an attempt to point out where the other thread is.

Havell, r.u.s.s. made a poor point as he failed to do what you tried.
The link does not work.....

End Thread.

"_r.u.s.s."? i didn't close your thread, havel felt like for mod powers that day. i asked why do we have a duplicate in site comments, cause people kinda do cry about pieces of eight in the thread, which is located on the too holy place to post for your ass.

and what's with the poor points and attempts? what jerk? have you been doing crack recently? and do you realy think that link "abandonia.com/vbullet/The%20other%20thread" is meant to be working? search it for yourself.

ps: go buy a pack of cigarettes for your own good, please

If I'm not permitted to enter a thread, or even able to view it's existance, I may just make my own.

Perhaps jerk was a little harsh, however, look at your only two replies to anything I've said.

My first post was a little disjointed, I realise it was not you who closed my thread, but it was you who instigated the action.

I only assumed Havell was more accommodating to 'unholy arses' than you, and welcomed new members, by directing them to the appropriate area.

I'd like to know, if you're able to view things I can't, why you'd bother restricting my freedom.

Elitist? I hope not. this is Abandonia. We are older than the internet.

Now calm down and drink a cold beer, or this topic will be closed too for flaming.

@Doink: that was his decision, if you want to change things try to PM him (polite way).
About Shoutbox funny topic...like we say in Italy, the game is nice when it's short

It's in site comments/suggestions - which is accessible to all forum users.
Incidentally, it is also _the_ place to post any complaints or bug reports. Thus, your topic was posted in the wrong forum to begin with and consequently due for a move or locking anyway.
Between that, the fact we already have two other topics in Site Comments about the same precise bug (in addition to the List of Bugs topic, where it has been reported several times as well) and the tone in which your complaint was written, it is no surprise that Havell has decided to lock it.

Jaywalkers are funny people and I don't see any real reason for having them locked up either :P
Moderators have to take into account much more then just plain entertainment value of a topic. From a staffmember's point of view, Havell made the right decision.

Now, if everyone's finished throwing names, complaints and accusations at each other, may I suggest you find a different subject to discuss?

i did not mean that you can't enter the thread. i thought that you don't feel like posting in it or searching for it (which seems that you kinda didn't since you didn't know that it even exists)
