Super Solvers - Gizmos and Gadgets [SOLD]
Hi,
I'm looking for the name of an old game i played as a kid in the early to mid 90's. It was a kid game were at the beggining there was a professor of some sort in a blimp hovering over his island(?) and you would go through the levels and gather pieces for your race car. when you finished building your race car you would race against the professor. you could put different decals on the car and you would win trophies every time you won a race. There would be some sort of robot/monster creature you had to avoid while gathering your parts for the race car and you would beat the robot/monstre by throwing bananas at them. There were two types of "levels" you could be on; either it was the typical level which took up the whole screen and you would climb and/or jump between levels on the screen or you could enter tubes and doors and go to a close-up shot where you looked like a teenager with his hat on backwards and you couldnt see his face or eyes. You might have had a skateboard. Could anybody please help. Thank you, jme02067 |

As a noobie, I will add on a couple of things.
The underdogs is no longer a valid site address, and from their new website you only have the option to buy the game :ranting: Edited -Eagle of Fire |

Also, reviving a dead topic which is several months old is not really in your favor in all this...

Gizmos & Gadgets [SOLD], Dark Legions [ON SITE]
Yep, thats me.
The first is called gizmos and gadgets, its by The Learning Company and is a science based game, aimed at the younger kids. You basically pick up various components and have to make a vehicle to race against a mad doctor. You can set if you want to verse believe it or not, mutant space monkeys. EDIT Gizmos & Gadgets is an educational science computer game designed by The Learning Company. It is intended to teach children between the ages of 7 and 12 introductory mechanics, namely simple machines, magnets, basic electronics, and forms of energy. The original game is compatible with IBM and Windows computers running DOS 3.3 or higher although a later CD release added Macintosh compatibility. A popular game through 1997, The Learning Company, then incorporated with Brøderbund, discontinued Gizmos & Gadgets in 1998. The second is an Aarchon style game, you get fantasy style characters on a hex based gameboard, which has obstacles on it. Your warriors all have differing abilities, and can activate them on the hex grid. However when two meet, you go to a top down battle. Its definately not Ultra. |
