My programming capability sucks, as in I can't code a simplest program from scratch, and I'd love to be able to do a platform game or two... somewhat close to Metroid or those more recent Castlevania games... classic 2D style.
So, I recalled dimly that there are some game maker tools, and there would probably be some for platform games as well. However, I don't know any. Which one(s) would you recommend? |

Well, the Bob and George Fan Games Forum recomends Game Maker for all your Megaman Fan Game needs. They even offer help to newbies. I trust them because nowhere on the net have I found a group that doesn't just talk about making fan games, they actually do it.
It's likely that'll do the trick for you. |

Thanks, I'll give it a go.
+EDIT+ Wow, they got a bunch of fanmade platformers! Now, that's something I always appreciate (being an utter and incurable platform game addict). :Brain: Thanks! k: |
