[Bugamn] S.T.O.R.M.
Hello fellow members of Abandonia, maybe you can help me identify this game.
In this game you played as a submarine, but you could leave the submarine using scuba gear. I don't remember sounds, but I remember that the game was mostly blue. You could be killed by mines or by sharks, but sharks were dangerous only if you left the submarine. There were also depth charges. I played a demo version and I think the second level needed me to kill sharks so manatees could eat fish that were blocking my path. The submarine had a claw that could move the mines. The view was sideways and the submarine was small, one person thing. I think I played it on DOS on the end of the 90s, something like 97, 98. Many thanks for your attention. No, it's not that one, I've looked that before. From the description it plays similar, but the other game was more realistic with art style and less colorful.

Submarine fury?
what do you mean by art style? And it is definitely side view? If so, was it scrolling or static screen? |

Not this either.
It was certainly side view, I'm not really sure about static screen or side-scrolling. I say the art is realistic as in, the objects looked like taken from photos, the diver had realistic proportions, those things. Although I remember depth chargs, I don't remember any surface in the game. They worked more like a trap, you would move and then sudenly one would fall into your path. Also, in contrast to Submarine Fury, the scenario had obstacles, like Dr. Riptide. And I don't remember any color in the game besides blue and maybe red for blood. For some reason I also think that the main menu had a crab. Anyway, thanks for the ideas. |

Was it by any chance, Scubaman's Quest?
http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/sc...st/screenshots Although I don't remember if it had mini-quests or getting in and out of a submarine in it, as you described. |
