I still think it's a bit fascinating, the whole hype surrounding Area 51. They're obviously hiding something from the public, but if it's aliens or advanced weaponry, we don't know... And we want to know. Now.
But what would you be able to do about it if you knew? I mean, supposing the US military forces (or whoever runs this Area 51 thingy) were hiding aliens and performing all sorts of disgusting tests on them, there would be nothing to stop them, right? There's no legislation that would apply to something like that, so that would mean they'd be pretty much free to do what they like. Advanced weaponry would be another matter, obviously, but then you could always explain secrecy through the necessity of hiding their research from other countries so as not to lose their advantage...
And of course they might just be hiding a huge waste of money which hasn't even yielded any results over several decades. I'd say that's by far the most likely explanation. [/b][/quote]
Hey, it's human nature to be curious . If aliens exist in Area 51, we want to know as well.

Hmm and what about areas 1 to 50? And areas above 51?

Edit:

Contrary to popular belief, area 51 is not the end all uber secret base.

Theres a reason its called "51".

There are far more important military installations that they don't want you looking into. Area 51 is just there to draw all the curious people to one place. I'm sure if the military so desired, they could launch balloons with small RCS rocket motors and bright lights to simulate all those UFO sightings
.
One of replies in that site....He may have a point

Hm... There's probably some insane numerical coincidence with Area 51. Like if you multiply it by the year Kennedy was shot, divide it with 13, and all that, you'll end up with 666 . That's probably the reason it was picked on. But yes, he has a point.

The circles are farms, the way it works is that you have a central point and from that point comes a boom with sprinklers attached to this, this boom slowly rotates, leading to the entire circle being watered and suitable for growing crops.

What would be a better disguise for Ufo landing pods than "farms"? LOL

Agree here. But hey, it's a top secret military base, everybody has to eat, whether they are gung-ho GI's or Ethereals from outer space .

I have to admit that they look a bit... Odd.

Well yeah, they do but the line coming out from the centre is the boom and the thinner lines going around the centre is where sprinklers don't water.
