I've lowered the logo's opacity a bit to mould it with the background. Personally I like the brighter version more, but this one has some advantages. As for the colours, I must say I like the tan colour much, as it implies some "dusty" feeling of old games. Actually the colour gave me the idea of using an old filmstrip for the screens. I even tried to apply some scratch effects on the screenshots, but they don't look as good as I thought. @Tai: I have also been thinking about different colours, but it seems I've become sticked to the official theme. Do you have some suggestion what combinations might look good? I tried some blue / transparent glass effect scheme, but wasn't that satisfied with it, as it felt too "modern". |

Thanks for listening!
Now it doesn't hurt my poor eyes. BTW, I would love to see a wallpaper that has a "rust" background colour. Any idea if such exists? OH, what if the current background image has such a background colour? |

do you mean the background's or the logo's colour? i might get some trouble changing the background, as i used mainly transparent overlays and their colours would also change then.

I think that red-ish tone is waaay too much. I'd go for something browner.

Use a blur tool to mesh the red with the tan, it'll look more like rust?

Nah, the original color is much easier on the eyes.

I also prefer the original colour, I'm only answering to the enquiry. Btw there are a lot kinds of rust. Making a paper out of the original tone by tattering the margin etc. would be cool. Once again here are my Help Squad logos so we have an original colours collection :
