haha, yes you were!
I'm beginning to fear that I had many games all jumbled up in my head because Golden Axe seems to fit so much, but yet the screenshots do not bring back memories... I'll go on a c64 emu site and check out the games - one by one - until I find something that may fit the description. In the meantime, thanks for all the help!

Hehe - good old Commodore 64...
I suggest you go to the lemon64 site - that's the best C64 site around. If they can't help you with that game nobody can (although it sounds familiar now that you mentioned the woman and the dwarf...).

IT HAS BEEN FOUND!

The first game is, as already established, Donald Duck's Plaground.
After extensive search of lemon64.com, I found out that the second game is Stormlord. Its funny actually, because both of these games came out for both c64 and amiga, so im not sure which system I played, probably the c64 though.
It would also appear that I did mix up several games, as this one has only one character (a fat fighter w/ a beard). I probably also played one of the Golden Axe games and mixed the two up.
Thanks to everyone for their help.
