Already they're closed? ToEE was their only game AFAIK...
And it seems that people from Black Isle are cursed...

Troika games... only know them from Arcanum. Don't especially like the game, so dunno if it's something to be sad 'bout or not.

As I said the only ones that I know of :P, but I think Black Isle's work was better, it's a shame though, another loss for rpg creation...

Some of the people who were part of Black Isle Studios formed Troika. They released three games: Arcanum, Temple of Elemenetal Evil (which they didn't develop themselves), and Bloodlines. I'm not sure why they quit, except that each could probably pursue a career separately to greater advantage. It was my impression that Bloodlines was quite a hit.

Whoa so they are the ones who did Bloodlines, didn't know that, it looks like quite a game, bummer though about this news.

A lot of people actually consider VtM: Bloodlines to be quite the little disaster, actually. Most of them are either hardcore Vampire: the Masquerade fans, or people who think vampires are all irredeemable "goth" screwups, or, SPOILER:

People who played to the end and were immensely disappointed by it.

yeah i read a review that said similar things - swing and a near-miss. not enough dev time to finish it which is a damn shame 'cos the p&p RPG is amazing.

as far as i remember Arcanum was bit forgettable too.
