Most members may not know, but the ortodox church sill celebrates the religious holydays according to the old calendar (so christmas and easter aren't on the same date as with catholic calendar).

So easter greetings to all ortodox members (and thank's Tulac, for bringing the point up - I completely forgot).

Yes, I am not a christian anymore, but happy easter to all of you that celebrate it. Though, at least for my fellow greeks, they are probably having a huge table full of various food and too busy to check forums. Lucky bastards.

Hmm, I guess there wasn't. I though there was. I know that Hare Rasing Havoc was put up for easter (as it had a bunny as the main character and was all around a fun game, but that's abou tit I guess).

But then again, I'm an atheist so I didn't really miss the thread (but I did open this one - less know holyday).

did anyone realize it's both may day and easter today? :w00t: I mean may day is a kind of socialist/comunist holiday originaly, so isn't that ironic?

P.S. I screwed up on that post, didn't I?

It's just a coinsidence, but then again - what's wrong with that?
I mean basically church is teaching that one should be fair and just (so not to exploit). Jesus' reseraction was a symbol of going to heaven - where there's no hunger, no oppresion, no exploitation, no wrongs, no slavery...
But the church fought against communism (and vice versa) because of completely different reasons (although both had many things in common.
