I think the drooling head has some nice cartoon/comics qualities. There are many styles in drawing, and there's no such thing as right or wrong. I like the robot too. It looks like a doodle, but it also has character. To me that counts a lot. Take the great comedy comics artists, like Don Martin or Aragones (I repeat myself here but they are among my favourite artists). They don't dabble in fancy use of colour or shades, but they make very effective drawings nontheless. If you stick to that style, and develope it, practicing more, I'm sure you can make some really great stuff.
EDIT: Am I the only one here not being an artist of some sort?

The Punisher: Comic books are not just comedy. Comic books can be anything really. Don Martin, Spiderman, Alien, japanese manga... you name it.
I still think the pics have some comic books qualities, I never said they were all about fun and comedy. I only used D.M. and S.A. as examples of different drawing styles.
