The problem with the mammoth was they only had one, that means one sex which means no more baby mammoths but just lots of the same mammoth. Shame cos they would have been cool to see wandering down the street.

That's not the problem, as they have mammoth's close relative still alive.

AS far as I know, there were two ways for them to get mammoth back, one is by creating NEW infant with elephant to carry, and other one is to breed them with elephant in couple of generations (will take long time in this case).

As I already said, I know they are trying, but there is no word how far they are done with this reasarch.

You have seen too much Jurrasic Parks movies. :whistle:
The weather in present is too hostile to dinosaurs to survive ,and I dont mention bacteries and viruses that are few million years advanced than dinosaur imunity systems...
No dinosaurs would have a LOT problems to survive here even without humans which would hunt and fight them.....I dont say that dinosaurs wouldnt massacre few million people but (without big p of genetical enchanting) they would be doomed when they take first step on present Earth
