Bring back T-rex, and the dinosaur too! ahaha. Not quite sure what they can do with a bit of T rex flesh but I'm seriously doubting them bringing back the old king of the lizards as there's no real equivalent creature now to give birth to the thing.

Well, they CAN syntheticly create a womb via plastics, latexes, heat, water, nutrient tubes and such. But yeh, we are far from being able to geneticly contruct sperm and egg from the genetic code of some old preserved skin. |

It's going to be interesting to see where they go from here.

Well Dinos come from eggs, so it would probably be easier then with mammals, but I doubt they found enough undamaged genetic material to bring T-Rex back to life.

WOHOOO
It is time for LIZARDS to rule the Earth again :w00t: But seriously I doubt that ANY numbers of T-Rexes would mean a danger to us.There are too evolutionary backwards that they even wouldnt be able survive in wilderness.... |

We are not YET advanced enough to bring T-Rex back, out of some genetic material. Actually, better to put it in words, we are not yet advanced enough to bring back even mammoth, even they found one quite perserved in ice in Siberia.
I don't know how far did their resarch go. I know they were trying to get them back to life with use of elephant. But soon I believe that we will be able to do such things, maybe even create new races of spicies, which makes us equal to someone from the religious books.... |
