Handheld gaming has never held much appeal to me, but whenever in doubt, Down with Nintendo! Up with Sony!

Edit: No is neither the time nor the place for a Nintendo-Sony war.

I'm not a console gamer and therefore not a portable console gamer either. I play games on my PDA (Monkey Island) and that works nicely. I also watch movies on it and that too works just fine (the screen is not too small at 3.5" although widescreen movies tire me when watching them). Because of the more multi media aspect of the PSP I would go for that one if I was forced to choose. It is not feature packed enough for me to trully be interrested (no TV out for instance). Something I would like to own is this http://www.archos.com/products/overv...00_series.html

Okay it is not a portable game player but being able to take a substantial part of your movie collection with you in your pocket and watch it on your friends tv, is something I like. It even leaves enough room for a decent MP3 collection. Two things the PSP will never be able to do as it does not have a build in HDD.

I own GBA, and I don't have a need for new hendheld gaming system.

Currently I'm playing NES and Sega Master System games using emulators.

Also heard with the psp they were advertising getting music on the system but they haven't lined up any companies, and what about the format for the dvd's umd or something, heard it's going to be $10-20 more than what a normal dvd costs.

I'd say DS, the screen on my GBA is scratched pretty badly, it's not easy playing Mario Golf now.

But I've never heard of this PSP or this gizmondo, anyone have any links?

I've always wanted a GP32 but they are only available in Japan, so I'm waiting for an English release but I don't think that will ever happen.

EDIT I've looked up the PSP and I think I'd still prefer the DS, I've never really been a fan of PlayStation. Although the golf game looks really nice.
