They should remake this game playable for all ages. The "San Diego" series is a great and educational game! I like it.

Didn't you read the review?

Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego Deluxe is a remake of a remake of the classic game. In contradiction to the previous versions of it, the effort on the audio-visual part is greatly increased in this one. The entire game is now made as if it's played on a high-tech phone. Well... high-tech for 1994.[/quote]
So it isn't exactly a newer version, it's basically just a slightly enhanced remake.

There is an even newer version but I cant remember what it was called.
If my memory serves me correctly, and I think it does.
You could have people walking back and forth and you can question them. They all look the same but with different coloured shirts etc.
This is the version that has all of the nostalgia for me though.

Thumbs up

I've got the game running on VDMSound, but every time I try to play it, it hangs up in the same spot: the airplane animation at the travel service. Suggestions?

Hey,

I just downloaded this game and am running it on XP using DOSBox. My little man in the plane froze too, but i clicked the right mouse button and that moved onto the person you're meant to get the clue from.

Hope this helps!!

I can't remember ever beating this game as a kid. I'm at 45 cases right now and haven't caught Carmen yet, either. I guess you just have to keep playing?
