They had that thing on the PCs at my Elementary School and I remember spending hours not doing what I was supposed to be doing and just making the most moronic stories ever.

I remember me and a friend creating a story about Jesus driving a bus into a USO party and then playing a boombox while a black man with an afro had a massive battle with ninjas and the soldiers were just dancing in the middle of it.

It was horrible.

Man, we had those back in 6th grade (along with Oregon Tral and that Alskan adventure game), that was a terrible waste of time. But it was damn fun! I always hated lack of objects though.

Had it in school... back then they didn't protect the C: because kids didn't know anything about PCs, but of course I did so I copied a bunch of games from the school computers to use at home. Fun times!
