Default Virus in Cannon Fodder?

So I just tried to download Cannon Fodder from here, and as it finished downloading my virus scanner informed me that it had a virus:

http://files.abandonia.com/ramdisk/0...zip\CANNON.EXE

And that it was a virus/worm named PS/MPC-gen3. Is that meant to be there?

Not this again. Okay, I'm gonna post some quotes:

This is actually mentioned in the cannon fodder thread, so you might want ot read that too, not really any clear answers though, but it seems it's only Avast! that complains of it.

Just ignore the warning, there's definitely no virus in any game you get from Abandonia.

The same thing happened to me with an old antivirus called "Pc Cillin" when I was playing Metal Slug.
What AV scanner did you use? Was it Avast?

It was Avast as it happens. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'd seen a few posts about abandonia being virus-free and I trusted the claim, but I thought maybe better to be safe than sorry. Nostalgia with Cannon Fodder here I come. :bleh:
