Does anyone know the status of the Close Combat series? I have a one of them, the Russian Front I think it is somewhere but wouldn't mind getting my hands on the second in the series which I seem to remember was pretty good. Are they abandoned does anyone know?

Microsoft = ESA = not abandoned.

Use the search function next time, it would have saved us both the time wasted on typing in those posts.

A search in Google brings up the European Space Agency, the Entomological Society of America, the Employment Standards Administration, the Eastern Surfing Association, the Endangered Species Act, the European Snacks Association.... and so on. No mention of the Entertainment Software Association until the fifteenth page.
Still, if it's easier than communication.

I meant the forum search function. On the very top of the page.

Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far (1997) Published by Microsoft & Developed by Atomic Games Inc.
Atomic games Inc is not under ESA protection, but Microsoft yes (15 years).
We have to wait 5 years and then we'll see.

Edit: no wait...this is the second one...
I'm searching something about the first...

Edit2:
Close Combat (1996)...same publisher & developer...and unfortunatly same Esa protection...4 years for this one.
