Default Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn

In my opinion, BGII is still one of the best CRPG's to date (although in my defense, It's really the only CRPG that I've played), so I've decided to bring the idea of a BGII Online game to AB(and whoever else wants to play).

NOTE: GameSpy Arcade seems to be the official client host for this game, but if anyone knows of a better one(by better, I mean easier to access, or more active), don't hesitate to speak of it.

Well it doesn't really require much, BGII came with an intact MP Function, but there aren't a lot of people on anymore

That would be pretty awesome.

What are the mechanics of online play like? Does someone get to be the main PC, and is there still the pause function?

Actually, the room creator has the options to change the permissions of other users, it includes buying, Leading, Talking(to NPC's), Pausing, and even Battling(among other things)

I played IWD in multi, but it gets boring when there's only 1 person around. But yeah, sure, I'd love to give it a try.

I wanted to try BG multi, and I still hope to play Icewind Dale multi. I've played NWN and NWN2 with my bro, and they do get a little boring. I think it would be chaos with even more people, especially who don't live with you.

Default IT WORKS!!!

Yep...I've found out how to host, and with Halindir's help, I found out that it worked.

If you want to join, you will need Throne of Bhall and GameSpy Arcade(or something similar which lists all games being played).
