Unhappy

I have this game, Snarf. Now I noticed that in the manual it states that it (my version) should not be considered as a completed game. From the manual:
Quote:
the game is NOT finished.* It is playable, but it is not what I would consider a finished game.* The reason I'm making this release is that I haven't worked on the game for a couple of months, and MAY never get back to it.
Now it's not shareware and it contains the source code, a level editor and something I've considered a full game (pretty much) all my life

Does anyone know whether this game was ever completed? And whether the completed version would be abandoned?

Well, according to this list, the latest version that was ever released was version 2.61 in 1998. Is that the one you've got?

Edit: According to the Underdogs entry it's freeware.

Wow, I hadn't noticed that list. I'm pretty sure now I have the very first release.
I checked HOTU as well, and they have the same one as I have (except that they've removed the source code, manual and editor).
In any case, I'd think Abandonia would be mainly interested in the latest release, which would mean a no-go on mine, right?

Well, you can get version 2.61 from various freeware/shareware sites, but make sure you include "2.61" in your search terms, since there seems to be some sort of illegal bittorrent thingy called Snarf as well...

Thanks
But in fact my question was because I was preparing an upload. I love my Snarf, and wouldn't want another
