This raises an intersting question- does the existence of different versions affect a game's AW status?

For example, say Resident Evil was still easily available on Playstation, but the PC version was no longer supported. Would the PC version be considered abandoned even though the game is still available in another format?
Since the PSX version is so readily available, I'd say that makes the PC version unabandoned (I know that's not a word). You have to remember that idea of abandonware is to support the publishers. If Abandonia gives away the PC version, then why would anyone buy the PSX version?

But, if we lived in some sort of bizzaro universe where the PSX was impossible to find and only the Gamecube update was in stores, then yeah, the PC version could be considered abandoned because giving away a crummy PC port isn't going to hurt the sales of the vastly superior GCN version.

By the by: Who comes up with these console abbreviations? Where is the “x” in Playstation? Or the “n” in Gamecube, for that matter? Stupid gaming press…

The N in Gamecube stands for Nintendo. Playstation peeps are just st00pid.

I agree with you, that's basicly what I was trying to say.

That movie wasn't really that bad I remember, I mean, it wasn't great.
But at least it had some good action.
P.S. The voice acting in RE 1 sucked big time, to the point of being annoying.

I have the original CDs for Resident Evil 2 for Windows. I've played it once. (with both character). That was several years ago, and I have never wanted to play it again. The game isn't good enough for that. Perhaps I'll try it again after some more years, when I have completely forgotten everything.

The game is good and very very addictive!
(But only when you haven't played through it. After that it just gets repetive in my oppinion.)
