So I downloaded Sid Meir's Covert Action, it works until I try to break into a safehouse, at which point the game freezes. Can anyone please help me out with some advice? Thanks.

This is a known issue of this and other MPS games like Sword of the Samurai, when there's a fade out effect with an image. Most times it helps just to wait for a minute or so and then the game resumes, yes I know it sucks but the following times during the same gaming sesions it will load correctly --you'll have to wait again if you load though.
