haHA! Super Woot to the rescue!
There IS a PC version. Know where to get it? From the same guys who made Mechwarrior, Fasa. er, sorry, I should mention that Microsoft bought Fasa's game development offshoot of a company and then shelved the Shadowrun PC game indefinitely. BUT, the funny part was, they were in beta and about 6 months from release. Not a nice thing for M$ to do, eh? Drekheads. |

this (the cancelation, not FASA) really sucks BTW, because the other games were pretty cool. and I can never get my group togehther (not that I try really hard  ) to play any tabletop game. |

I've heard there's a Shadowrun game in the works over at Microsoft. The bad news is it's a FPS for X-Box 360. :not_ok:

True, it's not really surprising, particularly taking into account the state of the RPG genre, it's just... disappointing, considering the nature and potential of the license.

[/b][/quote] Well I've been into Roleplaying (paperbased and with dices) for years and I've noticed that more and more games are being made into pc games (or consoles as well) Vampire the masquerade is another one that builds upon a paperbased roleplaying game and which keeps to the script. The best rpg at the moment for SNES is Tales Of Phantasia And Microsoft should stay out of the game developing scene really... played dungeon siege and halo... got bored |

There was a lot of great RPGs on SNES, including Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy and some other cool series.
I played a bit Chrono Trigger, but I did not find it to be any better then the rest of RPGs. Not sure why people like it so much. IMHO - Lufia was mure fun. Sega Megadrive is called Genesis in USA. (someone asked about that) Shinning Forces were cool on it. Last summer I got Shinning Forces Sega CD for 1 dollar on garage sale. I will try Shadowrun when I finish Ogre Battle, another nice mix of RPG and strategy. This topic should be moved to Favorites.... |
