cola and pepsi suck
real men drink http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C4%83linc%C4%83
that's p?linc?, it usually has about 52% alcohol, but the people i know use a bit more. no, a bit more than more. it burns the throat and the insides. the good thing about it is that if you're caught in a snowstorm, you can drink it so your insides don't freeze(since it's not freezing)
i'm sticking to my beers though :P

Palinka is just like any other hard liquer (everything over 20% of alchohol). Over here you can't buy anything over 40% in stores (that's the law) so they had to stop selling Ouzo, but you can still get many home made stuff that goes up to 60%-65% which is way too much. I mean you could start drinking pure 100% alchohol as well at that point.

Anyway, I just tried that Coca-Cola Zero... it brings me back to my previously mentioned drink Cockta (the tase is almost identical, but Coke Zero leaves a strange aftertaste). Anyway, anything with such high concentration of CO2 is bad for you.

Drinks? For the love of God, NO! Unless it's pure Islay single malt or Wood's Old Navy Rum of course. I'd rather have a decent beer/ale, and living in Bergen with the local Hansa brewery I'm just about the luckiest sod around :brain:

Well, when I said vodka doesn't have a taste, I was messing things in my head a bit. What I mean is that it's taste is easier to hide than other drinks such as whiskey or rum. And I have to say that the only alcoholic drinks that I truly enjoy are beer and wine, stronger ones are only for the sake of drunkenness.

The strongest drink I've ever tried is called absenta, not sure if it's also its name in english. About 70% and you can also use it to prevent freezing if you feel like it. :bleh: i think it is forbidden in Spain, but I had no problems buying a bottle in Eivissa.

Depressingly, I'm allergic to most red wine which is sad because I love it. White wine is slightly better because it doesn't give me such a bad allergic reaction. Either way getting good wine over here is almost impossible (there's a huge tax on imported wines and spirits) so it's incredibly expensive.

The most common drink in the countryside here is Lao Khao (Rice Wine) but don't let the nice name fool you, it can send you blind and/or crazy.

The worst drink I've ever had was Vietnamese Snake Liquor, which is moonshine bottled with a dead cobra snake. Unsurprisingly it tasted like dead snake and I woke up the next day with the most horrific hangover in the entire history of Lulu.

Korn - Coke (you guys know Korn?) works for me but I never drink it.
Wodka - whatever gives me a headache the next day. Always. Don't need to get drunk from it. Two glasses are enough.
Whiskey - Cola is too obstrusive for me, I still drink it if nothing else is there.
Beer is cool as long as it's chilled and I don't drink too much of it.

The real deal:
Bacardi - Coca Cola!
I can drink lots of it and I don't get a headache next day. I might smell like a gas station...

I don't like Pepsi and I don't like to drink spirits straight. I rarely drink shots.
I only drink red wine when there's a very good meal or some momentous occasion.

70% is a green one. blue, red and black absiths are 80% its fun to drink it 'burning' with suger in it

btw for those who dont like vodka, drinks with it are always yummy

try the 'russian icecream'

some kind of vanilla vodka- 3 units
white cacao- 2 units
almonds syrup - 1 unit
[that cream made of milk, i dont know how is it called in enlish] with about 30% fat- 4 units
pineaple juice -8 units

its weak(1:5), so you can drink it as refreshing drink in summer, and so creamy-tasty
