Thumbs down

Hi

I, inspired by the review on this site, recently purchased the original Fable cd version (with the original COOL box, for a mere tenth of a dollar), and wanted to play it the widows version!

But, for some reason, after the installation, it can't find the register-file, and so I can't run the game, only install it, over and over again as it my comp doesn't register that i have installed the game. :wallbash:
Does anybody have an idea why? And a solution, maybe?

Please help
MadsL

Run the installation in Windows 95 Compatibility Mode. To do that, right-click on the installer executable -> [PROPERTIES] -> [COMPATIBILITY]. From the drop-box select Windows 95.

If that fails, you can try Virtual PC, installed with your choice of a 9x series Windows OS.
