If you should edit your dosboxconfig: get rid of that 'doubled' part, it seems that you did copy/paste the whole thing when adding your mounts.
Now yeah, it's so in the attached txt file .....

Oh. Haha. I seem to have that in the actual config as well. 8D

Thanks once again.

In case you didn't notice, look at the previous page, btw.

If your age in your profile is the right one (mine is) I'm more interested in your mother.

Well, I did call you brother first... So no sexual interest.

...But really? Nice to see some older people on here, too. But yeah... You're not more than a year or two older than her. How nice. Oh, and same goes for my father (he's like half a year older than mom), actually. So you could just as likely be dad...

Wait. I just saw a pattern. Funny that you said you'd be more interested in my mother.

The executable is different from my copy.
Mine reports the same version, but is 95k long (as opposed to 230k), has an EARLIER file date (the one on AB shows 2002 for some reason) and doesn't have any issues running on higher cycle values.

I'll up that version tomorrow, along with the image of the CD version.

Is this information, by any chance, legit?
Not quite.
It doesn't run if the machine you're trying to run it on has more than 24 MB RAM, correct. But that doesn't affect it's ability to run in emulators (such as is DOSBox).
In DOSBox, it won't run if you set memsize over 24 MB. That's it. Setting
DOSBox uses 16 MB per default, and there are very few DOS games that ever used more than that.

Yeah. I got my answer as I was able to run the game.

Thanks, though.

Archive on the site replaced.

BTW, the floppy version seems to be slightly unstable with Dynamic core. Setting core to Normal and a fixed cycles value seem to do the trick.

CD version uploaded in the ISO Cellar. It has better quality SFX and some new missions.

Maybe add a tech note on the review?
Wouldn't avoid all the posts here about it, but maybe *maybe* some can actually read ......

[nitpicking mode]
-> And the game is still 'review only' in the first forum post.

I can't get the CD version to work at all. The installer wants to just write a configuration batch file to the CD and not install any files on my harddrive.

I've tried everything I could think of.

Did you try to specify the drive and directory to install to as an argument to the installer?
