hey folks,
the Volgelgrippenvirus (birdfluvirus?) H5N1 goes around the world and even moved into eastern and central Europe .... I stopped eating poultry now and I hope that they'll get something about it ..... but I am not panicing now .... what about you ? |

It was hugely overblown by the media, and there's nothing you can do about it, so why worry?

All it would take would be an anti-biotic resistance adaption from a multitude of common pathogens to become a major threat. ...and seeing how people use antibiotic medication these days, that's not difficult to imagine. Outbreaks of resistant influenza viruses could be lethal, even.
