I know the answer to that little problem you got there bob. Ditch FF 2.0, it's practically open beta. Buggy crap.

But I haven't noticed any problems with FF 2.0
There is only one thing that keeps me uncomfortable with FF (no matter which version) - I can't use it at work!
I configure a lot of stuff at work - most of them have menus and options avaliable thru html/web. FF often doesn't show some of really important options or shows them incorrectly. And at work time really matters - I do not like overtime shifts ... FF is not as fast as IE

But at home - it's my favourite

Requirements say:

System Requirements
Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
Firefox 1.0.1+

But it is also compatible with Firefox (v2.0.3) under MacOS X (10.4.9). If you want to update the description

MYSTERIOUS UPDATE OF DOOM!

Wow, I never thought the toolbar got much use, but according to my toolbar page, it's now had "331 Installations", with an average of 0.33 new users, 5.50 active users and 5.25 uses per day!

So, I decided to spruce it up a bit. I took down the News Ticker because it refuses to work with the Abandonia RSS feeds, and replaced it with an "Updates" button. This works like an RSS Reader for all the Abandonia Feeds that automatically notifies you of new updates.
The only flaw is that the Abandonia Feed entries show up "title-less", since the Abandonia Feed
s don't have
s. Someone poke Kosta about it. :P

I also spruced up the toolbar pages to look a bit more Abandonish, added search icons, updated forum links, etc. I might also look into making custom components for more advanced things like an Oldwarez search or something. I dunno, toss non-outrageous ideas if you want.

Sadly, the Firefox version got taken down from Firefox Addons since apparently, they no longer accept Conduit (former EffectiveBrand) toolbars. So you'll have to get it from the page up top.

Interesting - is Opera Browser supported? If not, will it be in the future?

There are a ton of handy toolbars out there, what distinguishes the Abandonia toolbar from the others?

Yea that's true, it would be interesting if there were a toolbar that could use its own automatic "google hacking" tweaks and help you narrow down what you are looking for really fast.
