This is such a cool game - but do anyone know the combination of choises to get rid of the guild of thieves for good? Every time I think I have, they just get a new leader and the same story repeats itself :crazy:

Holy cow! I love this game. One question: why is my name always Beginner when I play the game? In addition, does anyone have tips or hints on this game?

Anyone got any clue on why when u assign 90 workers to a wall or tower it give u No workers although food is ok and everything is ok?!?!?!?!

I have owned Castles 1 for awhile and played it frequently on my old Gateway, but I recently tried playing on my new Dell with XP using DOSbox. It worked okay for awhile, but then started repeating the thieves scenario. I have finished the game before and it never did this. I think it is a glitch related to playing it on a new system. Unfortunately I have no solution.

There's a patch that'll switch out the events we all know and love for new ones. I just need to find it again...

Since this game is ESA protected, do any of you know of another place where I may be able to acquire it? I loved this game when I used to play it. :Titan:
