My favourite WWII grand strategy game, Storm Across Europe (which should be part of Abandonia one day if I may say so).

Panzer General II, III 3D Assault, Fantasy General, Pacific General, Imperialism, Silent Hunter, Alien Logic (this too would be nice for Abandonia me thinks), Medieval Lords: Soldier Kings of Europe, Dark Sun 1 and 2, Dark Legions etc etc the list goes on.

So, who is your favourite developer?

Oh, btw, I did manage to contact him once a few years ago to ask him about making another Colonial Conquest one day. :-)

by renegagade do you mean C&C Renegade? I LOVED that game. Anyway, my fave game developer (as in company) was westwood. As person, John Carmack, for all the revolutionatry things he adds to the game industry.

Well I spin mine from both console and PC

On Console side has to be Shigeru Miyamoto, he's honestly a genius with the games he has created over the years, all the memories of Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and many more of his ideas, have made my gaming really enjoyable every time I pick up another one of his games to play, really great stuff.

On the PC Side I would have to divide it between Will Wright for all his sim related stuff that he has done, because I am a huge fan of all of those sorts of games, and somehow I knew it would be Maxis that would release a game like The Sims one of these days, this was before the game was even thought of or anything.

Second would be Warren Spector for his innovative ideas that he has made with the games that he has worked on, although of special mention has to be Deus Ex, because that is one of my all time favourite games, and hopefully he'll rebound with his new company now and we can see some more future classics and whatnot.

my favorite company used to be Sierra's adventure branch when it was headed by Lori and Cory Cole. The QFG Games still remain as my favorite series, and I loved SQ as well. Ah Sierra Classic, how I miss thee.

It used to be Microprose. Another great developers were BlueByte and Origin. MIssing them, as none of them exists any more.

Yes, I meant C&C Renegade. I am back on playing it online sometime this June after a "break" of about a year. :ranting:

Also the boys of the Blizzard developed some masterpieces (War-star-everything-craft and diablo) and i've to mention also Bullfrog (Sindicate), the Team17 platforms and at the moment i don't remember the creator of prince of persia...
