Question Gubble

Hey guys,

for a long time now I'm looking for a specific puzzle game I once saw (but never played it myself).

What I know:

It ran on Win95 (although I am not sure if it was native Win32 or DOS application).

It had an isometric 3D view. As I recall it was just a very colourful level set on a black background, like in space.

Gameplay was a lot like "Dot Trouble", a german DOS game I recall.
Download here: http://www.internetgames.de/DOWNLOAD1.HTM
A web version (Java) can be played here: http://www.internetgames.de/TROUBLE.HTM
In short terms: Visit all the spots on the board, but don't get caught.

Instead of simple spots, the game was like "screw all the srews" or "rivet all the rivets".

To complete your task, you had to obtain the appropriate tools.

Plus, there were some other obstacles as well.

And, I think you played as an alien, or was it a robot? Not really sure.

Any ideas so far? Maybe it was a german game, which never made it to the international market.

Thanks in advance.

I think I remember playing a demo of this once. 1996/7-ish, definitely no later than 1998.

Yep, that should be about the right time. I remember seeing the game on a friend's computer back when he had one of those brand-new incredibly powerful Pentium MMX machines.

Unless I'm way off the mark, it's called Gubble:

Yes, that's it!

Well, what do you know? They've actually done remakes for iPad and PC:

Thanks a lot for the research!
