Hi all Abandonians!
Let me tell you a little story...

I found this amazing site googling for a lovely old game called "Dune II"...
It was in "Most popular" abandonia games section, but damn!
What a bad surprise, it was only the second most popular!

That strange "Xsomething ufo alien crap" was the first one and I never heard about it before...
Finally I decided to try it...let me say WOW WOW WOW WOW, one of the best games I ever played.
Ok, end of the story....no not yet!

X-Com gave me a great game experience, so I decided to find a good and "faithful" remake with better graphics and maybe something new...finally I can say that I've found it: UFO:Extraterrestrials

New weapons, spaceships, missions, aliens...all dressed with little RPG elements (soldiers abilities) and nice graphics effects...
I really recommend it...it didn't disappoint me, I hope it won't disappoint you.

Some screenshots from the official site:

And this is my screenshot:

Feel free to add any comments or questions! Have fun.

Well, maybe Chaos Concept is not so famous but here you can find some copies:
Amazon

Or take a look at the official site:

Sorry for double posting but I've found a good link:
GamersGate
It's an European site full of interesting and detailed informations about the game, I'm talking about a buy link (yes, European) and some nice reviews made by common people.

The v 2.1.1 for Alien Invasion is already out, actually. Supposedly playable, too.
