If the game as a good editor, then yes, I have yet to check out HL2 SDK tho

Yep the game has a great editor! Use hammer 4 if you want to map for Half-Life2. :Brain:

I'l probly try it some time, might not be for a bit, a lot of people say its a really nice editor, and HL2 has a HUGE MOD community, which is always nice.
And maybe this topic should be moved to programing??? Seems a bit more suited to that thn 3xBlah... k: |

It's the main reason I enjoyed Operation Flashpoint, but I map for most of the games I own too.
I don't really like ValveHammer, I use UnrealEd if possible, but for the most popular games (CS basically) you have to use ValveHammer. |

I once tried doing some maps for a couple of games. The only one in which I actually finished the job was Heroes II. And this only kind of finished.
I was also quite close to starting on a Starcraft mod, but the steam went out before I got to actual work. |
