k: It seems that I have got confused for nothing. So basically you just look at every question and try to work out its pattern without thinking of rules. One last question can you make up symbols if nessecary.

Probably you don't have to make up any symbols, allthough it could be the case in some puzzles. The thing is: these things are made to test your pattern finding skills. If you're unable to see the patterns, this is probably not you forté. No biggy, you can train it a bit by doing a lot of these puzzles!

Yeah k: I get what you mean. This is the final one. In these type of patterns like this is it impossible to consider all rows,columns and diagonals.
