Edit: HERE is the trailer for DOOM for those of you who haven't seen it. THey even have the chainsaw weapon. It really does look like you'll be watching someone playing the computer for gor about an hour. Yay for stupid ideas! The biggest plot point seems to be at the very beginning; that scientists finished mapping out the entire human genome. That's the only essence of plot

Any, this is a kind of "made for PSP" movie, so I really doubt it's quality.

Just saw the 2005 trailer. Advent Children, looks pretty good. Read a few reviews of the japanese version, quite liked, but these are FF fans talking so it might be just a smidge biased.

And the D00M movie. I saw the trailer when it first came out, and cried. It's going to be the Resident Evil films all over again...

Metroid movie: What the hell? What, have some robot chick run around muttering to herself for an hour or two? The games about isolation and exploring for gods sake.

DOOM,Dungeon Siege,American McGees Alice are all being translated into movie, and yes Halo.

There has been a FF movie before, unfortunately it was a bit of a stinker, I haven't seen it myself, and there is a new Advent Rising Movie (the 7th FF game) coming out, as well as a sequel to FF7, although the game has been delayed, or so I hear.

It's Advent Children. Just watched it. Advent Rising is a game for XBox. And there was a sequel to FF7, it was called FF8. Unless you're talking about the remake of FF7 for PS3, or the fact that Advent Children takes up the story exactly where 7 left off.

Overall, 7.9/10 in my opinion. Amazing visuals, great coreography, but obviously intended for the fans. If your new to the franchise or haven't played FF7, don't bother. You -will- be lost.
