the games name has three words.the first two are exactly the same as in a famous series of RTSes.

Oh man you confused me because I was thinking of real time all the time.

Anyway the game must be Age of Wonders. One of the best strategy games (with some RPG in it :-p )

There were two the Dark Elves (my favourite) and the Light (or whatever they are called).

yes! my turn.

To make it easier I will only focus on PC game and installed in my laptop.

It is not a new game, but not old enough to be considered abandoware.
It has to do with a long bloody war, where you take part as a pilot and follow orders. It was one of the first (50 or so :-p ) games to also? (I am not aware of a CD version but what the heck) come on a DVD. I got it with my DVD Rom package back then.
