So while puttering around the internet today I decided to take a peak at the Gothic websites and read what peoples had to say about Night of the Raven and got all jealous of you Europeans... again. So here's my question: To all of you who have ordered games from overseas, what is the best way to do it? I'd really like to get ahold of both Gothic I and Gothic II Gold in German, but don't really know the best way.

Well... a lot of people are selling them on ebay. Even with the NOTR-addition. Problem is, only the german version is for sale... the english version is very hard to come by... I've been searching for it for a while now... Good luck!
In the end, I'll probably overcome my aversion and buy the German game after all... :P First Gothic was so terribly good! The demo of 2 was perfect as well... Oh, and in regards to your question: I've ordered from the UK and US through Amazon, Ebay and some others and never had any complaints. From Germany I've only got stuff on Ebay. All you really need is a credit card, a little bit of faith and a keen eye. Stick with the mainstream sellers, they'll not rip you of! |

Was there even an english version of NOTR released? I'm pretty sure that Atari never released it here in Canada (I kept bugging the local store to see if they even had a listing).

It exists allright: check out the english flag on the cover! but it's practically unobtainable
