I think it ridiculous how much attention worldwide this election got...both candidates sucked in my opinion. But then again, i don't even like democracy

There is a lot of different kind of democracy. Here in Canada we have what they call "Representative Democracy".
I don't call that a true democracy either... |

Yeah, but those elections are important for the whole world, since every decision made in USA affects the whole world. Just look at the present economic crisis, it started in the USA as a result of their policy, and it affected the whole world.
