Not sure if I stumbled upon it from some search or read about it on another forum, I think both...

I wanted to play some old games I remembered from eons ago, and I came across an online article about HOTU where you could download DOS games - for free! This site was as good as promised but took ages for the pages to open, and the forum wasn't that friendly and welcoming, I thought. From another site that listed where every possible DOS game could be had, I found my way here and began gleefully downloading. Of course I struck problems trying to get the games to work, so it was over to the troubleshooting forum where I encountered Tom and Freddy who I thought were super nice and friendly.

In my enthusiasm to fit in and be a useful member, I must have seemed a bit on the bossy side as Freddy referred to me as 'Mom'. This wasn't exactly the cool persona I wanted to project. hehe But I've always had a great time here.
