Trust me, HERE in Europe there's no propaganda trying to glorify the US by presenting the evil of Nazism. What I know of it is from my grandparents who survived the war (my grandfather was forcebly mobalised to the Russian fron in the German army; my other grandfather was among the freedom fighters - he was acctually the one who welcomed the partisans when they marched into the city of Šibenik, when they liberated it; my grandmother was sent to forced labour in austria; and my other grandmother was send to forced labour in an airplane factory which was under heavy allied bombardment - her parents were killed by the partizans, because her father was a colaborist and held her mother hostage, believing they wouldn't attack as long he has her in the house). I also know about nazist from history research (I'm a history profesor) and from the monuments that are all over Europe - SO DON'T START SAYING BS LIKE PEOPLE ONLY KNOW ABOUT IT FROM PROPAGANDA. I guess you know much less about it then you'd need too!

Nazism was based on Hitlers views of racial-national unequality. So if you really believe that - I'd be more then happy to drop you into a ring with (let's say) Mike Tyson - and you can prove your racial superiority to him!

Nobody is forgetting it, if I said I was National Socialist I would be beaten to death. I never said killing people was right.

I am not a National Socialist in the way Nazism was painted by the media - government should be controlling everything, killing everybody who stands in the way, etc.

National - I think that different cultures should be seperated and self-sufficient. Racism and conflict occurs when there are different cultures in the same country. I think that cultures should be respected. When people have the same beliefs there is no conflict.

Socialist - I think the economy should be in the state's hands and the state should provide for everyone.

This is true national socialism. The white supremacy crap is bullshit.

cheesegrater, I do respect your right to express these views, and it IS interesting to read an opinion that is so thought-provoking. How did you come to believe that the cultures can't intermingle? I wonder if that might be underestimating most people. Why I ask is that Australia, one of the most peaceful countries to live in, is just one big melting pot. I remember on my last trip to Sydney, in one suburb I visited, I didn't see one white person all day. Every person on the street and in the shops was from Asia. Even the shop signs were written in a non-english language. It was a shock at first, but when I got use to it, I liked it. Our new imigrants work very hard and seem to have provided us with most of our small shops and businesses. (Many Australians tend to be, err, very laid-back about working long hours.) The mix of cultures is really working for us. Anyway, Australia is such a young country, that everyone is either from a different country or they're one or two generations removed from another country.

Fascism is the belief that strength is paramount. The strong dominate the weak and therefore strength should be nurtured in society and the weak derised and rediculed. Racism is not neccessarally part of Fascism dicrimination is but only on a dichotomy of strength and weakness not based on race. That is not to say that racism cannot be combined with Fascism. It most certainly can but it is not an integral part of the ideology.

National socialism is different. National Socialism is all about supremacy. The ideology holds that Germans (as national socialism is german in origin) as a race are superior to all other people. Supremacy over others is not earned by being stronger then others it is a given. Racism is, as you can see, part and parcel of national Socialism, not an excess of it.
You cannot claim that National Socialism is and, as you put it, "white supremacy" are not linked. They are and cannot be sepperated from each other.

It wasn't painted this way by the media. It was like that and even worse! If you believe that not to be true, just come to Europe and get to know what Nazism was!

But I'm glad to hear that under the thing you call national-socialism you do understand something that is not exactly what was going on. Killing is wrong and white supremacy is ridiculous. I'm glad to hear that from your mouth.

BTW - the idea of cultures being self sufficiant is not a bad thing, but it leads to stagnation. However the idea of cultures being unable to mix and should be seperated would mean every single white american would have to come back to Europe and leave the Continent of America to the natives - the Indians. Or would you kill other cultures in order fro them not to mix with yours???
