anybody signed up for gametap?
I've just signed up for the first month at 99 cents , had to make up an american adress but works nicely , has a nice interface with some good games as I stear clear of torrents even at $9.99 per month it might be worth keeping going as it has about 1000 games ( although some are REALLY Cr@p )

I had this service 2 years ago. Not sure what's changed but it was damn good. Only problems were you couldn't delete a game from your HD you had to delete all your games at a time, And in order to cancel my subscription I had to call them and talk to a chatty bitchy service person who really REALLY wanted me to not unsubscribe, And she ended the phone call with "Thank you very much Ma'm" (I'm a dude). But at least the phone thing has changed and you can now unsubscribe online.
Oh, and soon you will be able to register outside of the US. |

although that sounds good it is to be through Metaboli who are likely to charge more as they currently do for their ovn version of this
I know that it is hard to compare us/uk prices but Gametap is $60 per year ( £40 ish ) or $9.99 ( £7.50 ish ) and metaboli prices are £12.95 a month and no option of yearly subs |

Just wondering but how did you fool Gametap into thinking you lived in the USA? I mean, apart from using a proxy. Steam did a credit card check so you couldn't fool them.
