Just get any browser but the IE and you'll be fine! I use FF 2 and it's fine! The appearance and icons are a bit more shiny that the first thing you'll notice. So for surfin' people it won't change too much. It becomes serious when you're doing HTML or CSS programming. But since everyone thinks of himself being t3h h4XX0r it has to be discussed... <_<

It seems to me it's not worth the transition, I don't really care for new shiny buttons, that eats up my system resources.

doesn't eat up too much system resources for me
ok it lags if i'm using msn, a game and shareaza in bg with it but otherwise it's fine (i'm listening to bloc party in winamp 5.31 at this moment and it's acting fine)

Another reason why I would not switch...
Like anything, I'll at the very least wait for the first few patches or updates to roll in before even considering using it... |

I'm not touching it. Not even with an 80 foot browser pole. I agree with EoF, it sounds like they got quite a few bugs to iron out yet, and why would I bother anyway? I'm happy with firefox 1.5, and what are the major differences going to be apart from a few shiny new tabs and buttons? Note to Cockroach : Opera sucks.
