I personally don`t believe they are developing nukes. I mean, using a nuclear bomb is the extreme act, an act that has been used only twice in the human history. Both are criticized even to this day. Nuking any country in the world would cause a huge uproar against that country.

I've read that they have 40.000 suicide bombers ready if they should get attacked (don't know if this is true). And now they are also giving money to Hamas even though both the US and Europe have frozen their "support."

If Iran is developing nuclear weapons, it is because the US does not invade nations that posess nuclear weapons. North Korea not only developes ballistic missiles, it sells ballistic missiles to other rogue nations. Kim Jong Il is an even worse tyrant than Saddam Hussain. All of the real reasons for invading Iraq apply much more forcibly to North Korea (except for creating a secular democracy in the middle east).

This begs the question why the US invaded Iraq, instead of North Korea, when North Korea really does pose more of a threat. The answer is that North Korea may have both nuclear weapons and the ability to nuke the US west Coast. This potential ability is what keeps Kim Jong Il in power. The US cannot act against him without pushing him into a space where he has nothing to lose. So Kim Jong Il comments on how he has weapons of mass destruction and a real need for massive foreign aid. Simply because the US believes him when he says he has these weapons, he mugs other nations for food and money, and he gets away with it. Surprise, surprise, no is willing to call Kim's bluff.

This is not lost on other people. If Iran wants to make sure that the US does not invade, all they need is posession of nuclear weapons. The missiles they can get from North Korea.
