BF2 is incredible with Surround Sound.
But I think Goldeneye is better than all PC FPS games, except for Half-life, just too many good times with Goldeneye

I bought Metroid Prime two days ago. I was confused at first as it didn't seem like much of an FPS but as you said it isn't an FPS. I'm loving it so far. I'll probably go back and get Metroid Fusion when I get a DS.

But seriously Unreal Tournament is the best FPS... ever.

Metroid Fusion is absolutely incredible, as I've said previously. I give it my highest recomendation. One of the few GBA games that delivered for me, and then some. Metroid Prime isn't an FPS, as you've noted, but an evolution of the genre into a First Person Adventure. Exploration and Puzzles take stage light, with some heated gunfighting in between.

Yes, I was also dissapointed when there were no lengthy story bits, although reading the Pirates and Chozo's journals make up for it a bit, but it just drags you in with atmosphere, beautiful settings and the exploration.

Echoes has some very nice and compelling storyline pieces, and incredible atmosphere. The wreckages at the beginning are incredible, letting you read the logs of all the dead troopers you encounter as you slowly learn what occured.

Actually, Metroid Fusion was the first Metroid title I ever came into contact with...

Suffice to say, Metroid fever has proven highly contagious once again.
