I totally misunderstood the meaning of this title and came to post Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

It's still good though, watch it

i was actually going to post something simmilar like lulu jane and say the boy in the stripped pyjamas or the tiger and the snow

by the way, that movie trailer you posted has very a similar plot to this terrible movie i recently saw in a cinema, it was called "legion". but it was a really terrible movie. except maybe for 2 scenes, one of which is in the trailer

Children of Men has at least two awesome scenes that are almost like something out of a video game because they all seem like long, seamless action scenes.

Yea the one action scene that Kee's baby is born in is filmed entirely with one shot, one camera, and the camera is in the directors hands, and it's filmed with a frickin hand held camera you can buy in any store

and Children of Men also has one of my favorite starts of all movies, the bells ringing throw the title and stuff is really cool IMO

and forrest Gump is like my favourite movie ever

There are a lot of great movies that are sentimental and have "hack&slash" in it, like:

Braveheart
Saving Private Ryan
House of Flying Daggers
Ran
Gladiator

If you want something without "hack&slash", then:

The Legend of Bagger Vance
The Shawshank Redemption
Forrest Gump
The Cider House Rules
Good Will Hunting
The Prince of Tides
The Green Mile
Dances with Wolves
Magnolia
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Notebook
Big Fish

...take your pick.

I would have to say The Shawshank Redemption, but only because I don't really know what else I like that is sentimental..........I like my movies to be action and violence packed. Shawshank was a really good movie that kept me entertained through the whole movie.
