Just Out Of Randomness, I thought i'd post some pics of SM64 but one-thing: their textured with a hi-res texture pack :P plus i'll post a vid as well for anyone out there who wants to see it in action. (Disclaimer: I won't tell anyone where to get ANY roms)

It looks worse if you ask me, the doors for example and the water got some weird point/circle texture, and all textures look too sharpened which detracts from the overall quality.

Bah! I like it - I agree with Saphire that the textures look hyper-sharp, but I like it that way - it sort of brings an old-school console feel to the brave new high-res. 3D world of today

well, here's some shots of another texture set:
and all of the screens were taken with fraps in project64. as for if it looks better or not, it's a personal opinion since i was looking to see what hi-res textures could do to it and i like what it does but at the same time i can appreciate the original graphics were also pretty good for their time :P edit - here's a vid of the texture set in the first post :P (requires divx)
