I'm not flaming, I'm viewing my opinions. And I expect this not to be closed or deleted or moved to your nice little trash can.



Dear Danny. I don't like you. As a mod, you've broken the trust I'm supposed to have in you. You're not a good role model like a moderator should be. As far as I know, you got your position by kissing asses, while at heart you really are the little bigmouthed spammer. My personal opinion is that you have way too much powers, and you abuse them.

I reported a post. I got no vital signs after that, I didn't get a private message telling me there was no reason to do anything about it, and of course nothing was done about it. Not untill I had contacted an admin who did it. I am going to share my ideal process of reports.
1) A user reports a post.
2) Moderator reads it, takes actions
~ a) Does something himself
~ b) Gets help from an admin, if he can't do it himself.
~ c) Contacts the user who reported the post, with an explanation why nothing will be done about it.

Now I'm pretty sure most people agree with this being a nice procedure. But totally neglecting it, that's rather... rough. How was I to know that I didn't push "cancel" istead of "submit"? How was I to know that it didn't get lost on the way? With no reply or reactions at all, I send another report. Et cetera.

In an ideal world, an ideal forum, a good forum with good moderators, the source of reports aren't given up in public. But Daniel, I've had that happening twice with you. How does that incourage people to report posts they believe don't fit on a civilisized forum? It's like rowing up a bunch of suspects and forget to put the glass between the vitness and make him point. Not nice, is it?


I don't care if you don't like me. I don't like you, so it's great. But as a moderator, you shouldn't let that affect you when it comes to matters that have to do with the forums. That's just something kids do.
