Thanks for that. My atheist-ninjas have been dispatched.

Oh also I seem to be a pimp.

:Jesus: ¬ Ow... my brains...

*edit* - No shareware on Abandonia, fool!

Don't know if "homemade" games and share-/freeware should be included, though...

One of the most obscure games I ever played was "Mr. Bones" on Sega Saturn. You played a skeleton in many different mini-games, but that game was just cool as sh*t... playing "senso"-guitar before a bunch of hard-rockin' skeletons is one Heavy-Metal-fantasy come trve...

"Superhero League of Hoboken" is another one (yeah, it's on the site, but I never really hard many people talk about THIS one... )... and it fits BOTH descriptions of "obscurity"...

Then there's "The Persian Gulf Inferno"... used to play that on a friend's Amiga 500 years ago a lot, but when trying to get it as an emu-rom years later I wasn't able to find it anywhere... The game itself is not really bizarre, just not widely known, as it seems.

I could list hundreds of old C64-games probably NOBODY here would've ever heard of, but they're beyond competition anyway

Well, I would say that this story is bigger and crispier than the previous stories of the guys who claimed to have a copy of this game.* LOL* LOL* LOL
Bigger and crispier LOL... Not to sure what that means, but it is quite possible that others have gotten ahold of the game. I expect to have it on E-Bay next week sometime including box scans :bleh:

Pumpkinhead.....the game based on the "hit" movie. My cousin and I found this for a dollar in a bargain bin in some used computer game store. The guy looked relieved we bought it. We almost got our moneys worth....almost.

I have to say though...Captain Bible has to take the cake. I looked at the link and had to wince.

I wonder how many people actually paid to order the full version..not on this site mind ya...but in the universe.

Pfft... there has to be a market for religious games somewhere.

Are you hearing us Neptune?

Also, I think that I still reign unbeaten with Machines. Made by Acclaim, but no-one else has ever heard of it. It even got good reviews.

Exclamation Virtual World Entertainment - abandoned

Tim Disney Virtual World Entertainment, INC
https://uspto.report/TM/74591935
The logo, registered trademark is abandoned decades ago.
The INC filed papers to show all assets were disbursed as the law allows.
Of course, anyone can grave-rob an old INC. People just file an LLC by the same name in some state, claim they are the same company.
Serial Number 74591935
Later, a porn company called 3D-CHAT filed to re-used the logo, name.
Party Name VIRTUAL WORLD ENTERTAINMENT, LLC
Party Type 40 - New Owner After Registration
Legal Entity Type 16 - Limited Liability Company
Address CHICAGO, IL 60607
Serial Number 74801563
Word Mark VIRTUAL WORLD
Filing Date Wednesday, October 24, 1990
Status 710 - CANCELLED - SECTION 8
Status Date Saturday, May 13, 2006
Registration Number 1910807

Trademark Events
Event Date Event Description
Saturday, May 13, 2006 CANCELLED SEC. 8 (10-YR)/EXPIRED SECTION 9

But that doesn't keep someone from claiming a Registered Trademark (expired).
