i use winace,which should be able to extract this file
I have WinAce too (in another desktop), but older version, and sometimes it cannot open .zip and .rar files compressed by newer WinZip and WinRar version. Anyway, the latest WinRar I use in this desktop is able to open the game successfully. So you might want to try WinRar. BTW, I am not in any way affiliated with either WinZip or WinRar

Arrgh! I hate when they place those silly horns on the helmets! Just because we goes to the OS wearing them! It was'nt even us from the north who made it up. It was the English and the Germans!

Anyways, looks like agreat game. I am on a row looking for -740 kb games. My old 486 does'nt have Cd-reader, and the floppy-unit (?) can't handle 1.4 mb floppys. Really bothering, since i love RPG's, and the most of them are bigger than 740 kb :blink:

Cant wait until i'll get my "new" Pentium II on Friday

Does anyone know how to kill the Dragon? I used to just find the spot at the pillar where the dragon fire won't hit me, and toss spears at the thing until it was dead. But I don't get any damage on my new try; it seems to just bounce off of him.

Please describe what exact commands did you input in DOSBox when trying to run the game.

:confused: I have downloaded the game and installed it in Dos Box but keeps telling me to insert disk A in order to run the game which of course I can't. How can I get past this. Any help would be appreciated..Around about the same time as I downloaded this game I also downloaded Fairy Tale 1&2 and these play with no trouble at all in Dos Box. Many Thanks

The game is provided ready to run in dosbox, I would say start from scratch, delete your folder and unzip a fresh one, simply run it in dosbox with dusk

@Sal:
Just try "dusk(.com) ?", it'll show the options, i usually run it with "dusk vs" to have proper sound.

And, concerning the battles: you CAN run around between hits (aiming heavy bashes at opponents back, for example), don't have to stand around lamely. Your equipment also affects battle efficency: the weapon (refresh time, damage), your shield (mancharger or whatsitsname makes you really fast, best shield imho); your warrior points (wearing torc of warrior or battle hauberk helps here) also affect damage, i think
