i accidentally deleted the system restore shortcuts on my pc.
is there anyway to get them back or can someone tell me the command line to make a new shortcut? thanks for any help

Why would you have system restores in the first place? :P They're the worst thing in the world when you're trying to do things like removing spyware or messing around in the registry.

If this is the one you mean then the shortcut points to a file called rstrui.exe in C:\Windows\System32\Restore. You should be able to go there, right-click on it and create shortcut.
