I apologize if this is out of line, but it is a technical question. Feel free to delete either/or if necessary - just trying to get a bit of technical help here.

I have downloaded UFO from here, and I am running XP. I used the modified exe, and it does start the game and allows it to work - *until* tactical combat. Then it promptly junks out and crashes. I'm running 1920x1200, I don't know if this is a resolution issue or what, but if anyone could suggest a solution, I'd be very appreciative.

** Read the forum and find out this person downloaded the game from somewhere else and it worked fine, so unless you really want to dig deep incase someone else has the same issue - theres no hurry as this person has solved their delimma.
